Pearland’s 3rd annual International Festival will provide a full day of fun, as the culture and arts of the Mediterranean are celebrated.
A wide range of activities are planned for this year’s festival, some of which will be familiar to attendees, such as the H-E-B Kids Zone, face painting, crafts, and rides, together with the usual array of food, dancing, and eclectic music. Other activities, such as the Olive Pit Spitting Contest, may be brand new to both the spectators and the participants.
Food selections will run the gamut from traditional festival offerings like corn dogs, barbecue, funnel cakes, and fajita nachos, to a variety of Mediterranean specialties and other dishes from around the world. In addition to the regular soft drink choices, a VIP tent will be on hand at which, for a separate charge of $40, those guests who are 21 years old and over can taste a selection of local and international wines.
