The Pearland Department of Parks and Recreation is making it known that it is once again time to start thinking about Summerfest.
Guests can enjoy the music, visit friends, and snack on a variety of delectable choices from nearby food vendors. A playground and Splash Pad will be available to entertain the little ones while adults relax and chat with friends.
An assortment of live bands is scheduled to play over the two month period. The Summerfest Entertainment Stage Schedule starts with Zueldo and is followed the next Friday with Kelly McGuire, serving up Caribbean style music. Over the following seven weeks, the musical styles will include rock, country, oldies, zydeco, and blues.
Attendees should consider taking lawn chairs, a picnic basket, and blankets in case the evening turns cool. Volunteers are always welcome and, for information on how to donate time to help make this event a success, they can call 281-412-8903. Additional information on the event itself and the band schedule can be found by calling 281-412-8900.
Events like Summerfest strengthen a community and improve its livability. To ensure sufficient participation in events such as this one, the services of a flyer printing company are often extremely helpful.
Residents are invited to head out to Southdown Park from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm each Friday night starting on May 2 and continuing through June 27. Admission to Summerfest is free, and so is parking at Southdown Park and the Westside Event Center.
