A new sport is set to offer a taste of medieval life to Pearland residents, and this family-friendly experience can be enjoyed by just about anyone.
The Pearland VFW Hall is set to play host to an event organized by the Armored Combat World (ACW) and its planners explained that they hope it will be the first of many such activities. The mock battle will include real knights in shining armor, and admission for the function will be $10 for adults and $5 for kids.
The event will feature a duel between the Houston Horde and the San Angelo Ironclads, and the combatants will be available for photo ops in full armor as well. The VFW Hall’s kitchen will be open, and snacks, water, soda, and beer will be on offer. The doors will open ahead of the battle so that all spectators can find a space.
