Pearland performers invited to bring holiday cheer

The city of Pearland has found a way to showcase the talents of its performers, and it will help the public to enjoy a more festive holiday season this year.

The Pearland Town Center will be providing a venue for area performers to take to the stage, and those who do will be able to do so in a way that follows COVID-19 prevention protocols. Solo artists as well as duos and trios can all participate, and the booking system for the activity is currently accepting applications.

The organizer of the activity explained that keyboards and pianos will be acceptable instruments for these events, as will cellos, guitars, violas and other stringed instruments. Music that could potentially spread the virus such as wind instruments and singing will not be permitted, but dance groups that use pre-recorded music will be acceptable.

Each performer or group that provides entertainment through this program will be welcome to put out a tip jar so the public can show its appreciation of their talents. Alternatively, they can use signage to let people know how they can make a contribution, and Print shops will be able to prepare these sorts of materials.

The dates for these performances, which can help to build a cheerful spirit in the community, will run from December 5 until December 19 on Saturdays only. They will all take place in the Pearland Town Center.
