Pearland area workshop to benefit local pollinators

More people are becoming aware of the importance of keeping Mother Nature in mind when they choose plants for their garden, and a Pearland area class may help to give them all the information they need.

The workshop that will be on offer in early March will address the issue of pollinator gardening, and it will be facilitated by a Galveston County Master Gardener and Texas Master Naturalist. The class is free to enter, and any member of the public who is interested is encouraged to attend.

Before the activity begins, those who join will be part of a meet and greet, and light refreshments will be on offer. This will give them the chance to meet others who are interested in home horticulture, and they can share their own tips. After this, it will be time to take their seat for the lecture portion of the morning.

Gardening is a hobby that combines artistry with working with the natural world. Promotional Pens and other items for distribution during a class aimed at home horticulturalists can be crafted by a Print shop, and they can include a Logo Design or other graphics.

This introduction to inviting pollinators into the home garden will begin at 10:00am on Thursday, March 7. The venue can be found at 112 West Spreading Oaks Avenue in Friendswood.
