A boy’s childhood days can fly by in a flash, so a special event will give Pearland’s moms and sons an evening of fun they can always remember, and everyone is welcome to be a part of the occasion.
An evening full of activities has been planned for the Mother and Son Winter Wonderland Dance, and dinner will be served. Those who register well ahead of time will have their names entered into a raffle draw that will be included in the event, and there is lots of other fun on the agenda.
Guests at the event will be invited to play games, make some crafts at the crafting stations, and meet with the costumed superheroes who will be on hand for photo ops. A DJ will provide the music for the festivities, and the moms and sons can take to the dance floor to create happy memories of their evening together.
The proceeds from this function, which has been arranged by the Pearland Silverlake Lions Club, will be used to fund scholarships for local high school students and also the Texas Lions Camp and other community service organizations.
