What's Happening in McKinney, TX…

Walk to showcase McKinneys mysterious side

Most communities have history that many might find interesting, and McKinney is no different. A planned walking tour will give participants a chance to learn more about the area’s past and the places within it that some believe are haunted.

The McKinney History Ghosts and Legends Walking tour, which will be facilitated by members of TexPart Paranormal LLC, will provide those who take part with a walking tour through some of the locations in the city’s downtown that played a significant part in its history. They will give a narrative that gives details about the haunted buildings, and the stories behind the ghosts rumored to inhabit them.

Those who come for the walk are welcome to ask questions and bring along their own cameras to take photographs as they go. A company that provides marketing services can create a variety of promotional materials that advertise activities like this to the local community and those that surround it.

The walk will take place on October 8, and will depart at 8:00 pm from the Collin County Historical Society & Museum, which is located at 300 E Virginia Street in McKinney. Tickets start at $10 for adults with a coupon, while for those ages 12 and under, they are $8 each.

More details about the walk, and an opportunity to purchase tickets, can be found on its Eventbrite listing.
