McKinney welcomes the 4th with a boom

McKinney locals can celebrate the 4th of July with a variety of family friendly activities.

Red, White and BOOM! will begin with a morning parade that goes in a loop around the downtown McKinney area. Then, residents can check out the car, truck, and cycle show where there will be food and beverage vendors.

After that, residents can head to the McKinney Soccer Complex at Craig Ranch for live music, refreshments, and children’s activities. Hollie Cavanagh, an American Idol finalist, will put on a concert. To finish the night, there will be a fireworks show. A local radio station will provide live music to go along with the display.

Printing services often help promote large community gatherings such as this one. Flyers are an easy way to advertise an event.

The parade kicks off at 10:00 am on July 4 and the car show, located at the corner of Tennessee and Davis Street in downtown, will be held from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.

Later in the day, the food and activities will resume at 7:00 pm. The concert will go on from 8:00 pm until 9:30 pm, followed by the fireworks at 9:45 pm. The McKinney Soccer Complex is located on 6375 Collin McKinney Parkway.
