McKinney schedules summer sip and stroll
Summer and sipping on a margarita often go hand in hand, and McKinney is set to celebrate this dynamic duo.
The city's historic downtown will be rolling out the red carpet for those who take part in the McKinney Margarita Stroll, and the presenting sponsor for the activity is Russell Realty. It will see lots of sipping, strolling, and exploring what the neighborhood has to offer, and tickets are $40.
Participants will be able to visit the 15 stops on the tasting trail, and everyone will receive a special tasting cup printed with a fun graphic design. Each stop will be located in one of the neighborhood’s shops, and there will also be five additional bonus stops. At these, ticketholders will be treated to pours of craft beers, spritzers, and other beverages.
Along with the tasting tour, attendees can stop by the small business vendor market at the McKinney Performing Arts Center. A photo booth will be set up at Retreat at Honey Creek, which is one of the sponsors for the day. McKinney Community Development Group has also lent its support to the festivities.
