Downtown McKinney offers shoppers lots of options when it comes to retail therapy, and in honor of the Halloween season, its shops and services will be taking part in a late October celebration.
The community’s downtown will be welcoming the public for some grown-up trick-or-treating, and while they sip and stroll from store to store, they can learn about what the district has to offer them. Both craft beers and other beverages will be poured, and when they arrive and check in, the participants will each receive a printed map of participating venues, as well as a tasting cup printed with a unique graphic design.
The roster of shops and eateries that have signed on for the activity currently sits at 20, and beverage stations will be set up in each location. These will showcase Texas beers and other libations, and those who choose to come in costume can sign in at the Russell Realty Group tent to register for the costume contest. Photo booths will be on site as well.
Along with all the other offerings, the function will boast a pop up vendor market, which will take place outdoors. This will help to support even more local small businesses.
The Downtown McKinney Boos and Brews festival will begin welcoming ticketholders at 11:00 am. It will draw to a close at 6:00 pm.
