McKinney will be celebrating its Irish heritage with a day filled with events offering fun for young and old alike.
Thanks to the support of Davidson Lane Real Estate Group, the community will be hosting the Shamrock 5k, which will both begin and end right in front of TUPPS Brewery. The participants can choose to run or walk, and prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers. Each runner or walker will receive a finisher’s medal, as well as a T-shirt and swag bag filled with Promotional Products.
The high energy of the race will keep right on going after it is over, as this is when the St. Patrick’s Day Festival is set to begin. All ages can enjoy themselves, and there will be food, music, dancing, a costume contest, and a beer tent as well. A vendor area will welcome shoppers, and the younger guests can take part in activities planned just for them.
