A campout can be an experience families fondly remember for a long time to come, and one of these activities is set to welcome McKinney parents and kids.
Heard Natural Sciences Museum has scheduled a Family Campout for early June, and it will offer the chance to experience a night under the stars. Tickets for kids are $24, while adults will be asked to pay $29.
Campers will be treated to an assortment of team building activities, as well as an opportunity to learn about local wildlife and how they can lend it a helping hand. S’mores will be served, and it will provide a chance for the registrants to meet their neighbors. It is intended for families with kids who are between the ages of 5 to 12, and there must be at least one adult on hand for every four children.
