As the invisible strength behind the uniform, a McKinney event will provide military spouses, as well as veterans, with a time to connect.
The Clubhouse Indoor Golf venue has been booked for an event that will provide a supportive atmosphere just for military spouses and veterans. Whether they love golf or have never set foot on a course, all are welcome.
The activity will see peer group leaders from the PTSD Foundation of America, MVPM Dallas, and The Veteran Spouse Network serve as hosts for the mixer. Attendees can learn about the various support group options open to them, and they will also find out why this can be so important. The atmosphere will be casual and relaxed, and there will be plenty of time for networking. It is free to reserve a spot.
Between frequent moves, deployments, field duty, and other activities, being a military spouse challenging. A social event can offer both support and camaraderie from those who have been there, and a flyer printing company will be happy to help get the word out about such a function to the local community.
This opportunity for spouses of vets and military members to come together is taking place on Wednesday, June 5, beginning at 10:00 am. More details and a registration link are available on its Eventbrite listing.
