A hike at the end of this month will introduce the public to what goes on in McKinney after dark.
The Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary will be showcasing its nightlife, and the organizers explained that the participants can expect to find out just how different the trails can be after dark. This Night Hike will be guided by one of the facility’s staff members, and it was explained that they are suitable for anyone who is at least three years old.
During the walk, the facilitator will point out items of interest, and with some luck, the group may even be able to spot some of the local wildlife. The participants will be encouraged to use all of their senses during the experience, and it is recommended that they wear sturdy shoes and dress appropriately for the event.
Hosting an activity like this can help to create a greater appreciation of wildlife in the local area. A poster printing company will have a variety of ways to help spread the word to the public, with publications to suit a variety of budgets.
The next seasonal Night Hike has been scheduled to hit the trails around the Heard Museum on January 30. The group will head out at 6:00 pm, and registration for the activity is now open.
