A community-based fundraiser that will benefit veteran-related service projects, and an assortment of other local community service groups, is set for McKinney.
Eldorado Country Club will roll out the green carpet for the players in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2150 Golf Tournament 2024. It will be running throughout the day, and the plans for the event offer several special activities.
Each registrant for the fundraiser will be offered the opportunity to play 18 holes, and they will also receive the use of a cart. Eldorado Chevrolet has donated a car as a prize for the Hole in One contest, and the putting contest winner will receive a guaranteed prize of $300. Support for this comes from Thomason Tire. A burrito breakfast and fajita lunch will be served, and everyone can mingle and enjoy one another's company in the mixer and awards banquet.
Along with the rest of the fun, the day will offer the excitement of an auction and raffle. Corporate Gifts in kind are often donated by local companies to use as draw or auction prizes.
