McKinney florist to host floral arranging workshop

McKinney residents who enjoy working with flowers may find an upcoming activity something to plant in their diary.

Brickstreet Flowers owner Sarah Landers will be shaking her skills and knowledge during a workshop on offer in early June. It will take place in person at the Ettiene Market located at 115 West Louisiana Street.

Each ticket holder for the function will receive a selection of flowers and greenery to work with, and Landers will walk the group through the steps of making a beautiful bouquet. She will provide tips that can make doing so easy, and everyone will be invited to enjoy a complimentary cocktail while they work at crafting their own unique arrangement. Tickets to participate in the class are $60, and advanced registration will be appreciated, as this will aid in planning the occasion.

Hands-on classes give adults an opportunity to learn a new skill or hobby. A flyer printing service will have a variety of options on offer that can often prove to be effective marketing tools.

This chance to learn some new floral design skills and meet others who also enjoy the pastime will be on offer on June 3. Everyone who registers is asked to arrive by no later than 6:30 pm, and the function will wrap up at 8:00 pm.
