“Go big or go home” will be part of the inspiration behind a McKinney event that will boast some seriously big bugs.
The Bugs LIVE! exhibit will be welcoming all ages at the Head Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary. The offering is included with general admission to the venue. Suitable for all ages, it may help them to develop a new appreciation for their six- and eight-legged friends.
During the activity, visitors will be able to view the animatronic, oversized insects, spiders, and other arachnids. These will be located in various spots along the venue’s trails. As they go, they can learn more about these creatures and their roles in the environment, and they will also discover ways they can offer them a helping hand. General admission passes to the venue are $15 for adults, $11 for kids from ages 3 to 12, and also $11 for seniors.
Natural history museums explore the past, present, and future of an area. Exhibit signage, printed trail maps, and other materials that add an extra touch to an activity can be prepared by a brochure printing company from the area.
The Heard will be running its Bugs LIVE! Program from March 15 until June 29. It is located at 1 Nature Place in McKinney. The museum is closed on Mondays but open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Tuesday to Saturday, and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sundays.
