McKinney art studio to hold gift-making blitz

Santa is usually busy during the lead up to the holiday season, but he won’t have to worry this year, as a group of McKinney crafters will be lending him a helping hand.

Jump Into Art Studios will soon be welcoming those age 6 and above for a day of making, and while they work, the participants will be able to chat and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
The studio will be opening its doors to the public for its Santa’s Workshop Gift Making Extravaganza, and it will provide an opportunity for the participants to give some handmade gifts they have lovingly crafted to someone special.

Each attendee will receive the materials and instruction needed to craft eight items, and there will be an opportunity to visit the scent station to add some custom fragrances. These can be added to the scrubs, soaps, lotions and sprays that will be prepared, and everyone will also be able to make wooden ornaments, decorate gingerbread cookies and prepare a wreath.

The day will be broken up into two hour long sessions, and each will be able to accommodate up to ten people. Three dates have been scheduled, and it's expected all will sell out. Promoting local events may be a snap with assistance for local flyer printing company.

Jump Into Art Studios will be offered to the public on December 2nd, 9th and 16th. Tickets are available now, and they may be reserved by visiting the studio’s website.
