First responder appreciation breakfast to be held in McKinney
A free breakfast has been planned for McKinney as a way of saying ‘thank you’ to first responders for the services they provide.
The meal, which is being sponsored by Real Deal Real Estate Investors, will see first responders and their immediate families enjoy a breakfast, served to them by volunteers. The general public is also invited to attend to show their support. Both Gary Lee Price and Lessa Price will be on hand as well.
Both volunteers and additional sponsors are being sought for this event. Anyone can provide their support to the breakfast, and according to its organizers, it will all be appreciated.
Tickets for the public will be $20 each, with those for children ages 5 to 10 being $6 and children under 5 being admitted free of charge. Banner printing can be used to create specially designed decorations for events such as this.
The First Responders Breakfast has been planned for September 10 at the Old Settler's Recreation Center, taking place from 8:00 am until 10:30 am. Those organizing the event noted that this date was chosen because of the significance of September 11 and the role that firefighters, police, paramedics, and other rescuers played in saving many lives on that date 15 years ago.
More details can be found on the event’s website.
