Those who live in McKinney and who need to frequently travel to Houston for business or pleasure will soon find it much easier to do so.
A partnership has been formed between Texas Air Shuttle and the McKinney National Airport and McKinney Air Center to offer daily flights between the two cities starting later this year.
The flights will leave McKinney and land in the Lone Star executive Airport in Conroe, which is just outside of Houston. Custom Drinkware that has been printed with the company’s logo can be designed for the use of the passengers on board the aircraft.
The shuttle service offers ‘all you can fly’ plans, where those who have a membership can pay a fee once a month that allows them to fly as often as they like. Memberships can be taken out for between $1,895 and $2,850 per month. The planes used will be Beechcraft King Air 200, each of which has two pilots on board for added safety.
According to Texas Air Shuttle, though they plan on initially offering service to Houston, this service could be expanded to include other cities in the state if successful. This could potentially involve San Antonio, Austin, Midland, and Harlington. Plans are also in the works to go as far as Rogers, Arkansas and Oklahoma City at some point in the future.
