Thanks to the generosity of its signature corporate sponsor, Houston is about to be treated to two movie nights out under the stars.
Two family movie nights have been organized for Discovery Green, and admission to both will be free. The movies screened will include Grease and Summer of Soul, and special seating locations may be available to the venue’s donor community.
The public that includes the function in their plans can bring a folding chair or blanket so they can sit back and relax in comfort. They may also want to stock a cooler with their favorite picnic food and drinks, and The Lake House will be open for anyone who would like to purchase wine, beer or a bite to eat. Both installments will last for three hours, and “Grease” will be an interactive, sing along style screening with audience participation encouraged. Glass containers and alcohol will not be permitted on site.
Communities across America will be taking advantage of the pleasant summer weather by offering outdoor entertainment events. A poster printing company can be tasked with creating materials that help you build the buzz in the local area.
The Screen of the Green series will take place on May 24th and June 14th. Both will start at 7:00 pm, and the fun will keep on going until it's time to head for home at 10:00 pm.
