Houston is well known for its night life, and during an evening workshop, these nocturnal navigators will be the stars of the show.
The Summer Saturdays program at Houston’s Garden has been designed to provide chances for the public to engage in hands-on learning about the natural world. Members and non-members may take part, and the schedule runs for three hours.
The function will include an assortment of craft and information booths, and everyone will be able to head to the venue’s Culinary Garden for a presentation that will intrigue the bats that call Houston home. This will be followed by an introduction to the practice of moon gardening, which tends to incorporate white, highly scented cultivars. At dusk, the lighted stations will be used to view moths, and everyone can gain some hands-on experience with bat detectors. The attendees may want to bring a water bottle, and comfortable clothing and walking shoes are also recommended.
Members of the public may appreciate a chance to learn more about the natural world, and a workshop, walk or other activity can make it fun to do so. Presentation materials such as handouts and visual learning aids can be prepared by brochure printing companies.
This introduction to Houston's nighttime crew will be held on August 1st. The activity will begin at 6:00 pm and continue until 9:00 pm.
