Discarded tires are about to get a second chance when they serve as the focal point for a Houston based community workshop.
The Tire Edition of the Trash to Treasure series is scheduled for the city, and it will take place at the Denver Harbor Multi-Service Center. It will be on offer thanks to Denver Harbor Cares, and it may be suitable for all ages.
The activity will tackle the topic of tire waste by showing how they can be repurposed and reused. Harris County Waste Management and Houston Public Works have both lent their support to the occasion, and there will be guest speakers addressing the attendees. A collection trailer will be on site for anyone who has tires to recycle, and tips for transforming them into garden planters and other receptacles will be provided. A data collection exercise will be held, and some of the participants will go home with Promotional Products, including home gardening supplies and seeds to start.
Learning how to live a more sustainable lifestyle can be as simple as signing up for a local class or course. Learning material for an activity can be prepared by Stationery printers.
This exploration of how tires can be transformed into garden decor will be on offer on October 4th. It will open at 9:00 am and wrap up at 12:00 pm.
