Houston to host beginner floral design class

Working with flowers offers a way for the public to invite nature into their lives, and a Houston class will equip a group of learners with the basics of floral design.

The American School of Flower Design is set to run a beginner level class in Houston, and tickets are $495.00 each. It will be taught using hands-on methods, and both European and American style arrangements will be covered.

The learners will be taught how to create arrangements and bouquets in a variety of styles, and they will also get an insider's view of the wholesale flower market industry. It's for those aged 18 and up, and it will be held at Oak Forest / Garden Oaks. Bridal bouquets will be on the agenda, and there will be two days of learning. The flowers and the containers used are covered by the class fee.

To encourage the attendees to keep on leaning after the course is over, each participant will receive a copy of Michael’s Design Star book, which will be autographed by the author. Certificates of completion for classes or other educational activities can be prepared by Stationery printers.

This chance for Houston flower fans to gain some new skills will take place on January 15 and 16, with a start time of 9:30am. The location can be found at 1313 W 20th St, Houston, 77008.
