Locals are set to be treated to an expo-style event that will feature rocks, minerals, and lapidary supplies, and it can be enjoyed by just about anyone.
The Humble Civic Center will be welcoming the return of the Gem, Mineral, Jewelry and Fossil Show. Parking is free, and admission at the gate is $8, with kids age 10 and under being admitted at no charge.
The show will bring together a wide variety of vendors and presents opportunity to purchase some unique jewelry and other pieces. Mineral-based home decor will be on offer as well, and everyone can enjoy viewing the fossils on display. The kids in the crowd will have a chance to take part in an educational activity, and the Houston Museum of Natural Science will be lending its talents and expertise to the occasion. Anyone who would like to learn some new skills can sit in on a workshop.
One of the goals of a function like this is often to educate the public, and a brochure printing company will be able to help by preparing handouts and other materials. Its staff will be on hand with expert tips and other advice.
Now in its 68th year, the show will be running from November 12th to November 14th. Its website is the place to go for more details.
