Houston cat lovers to congregate

Feline fanatics will have a chance to show off their pet, as well as learn about and enjoy viewing a variety of breeds, at an event coming up in Houston.

The city will be playing host to the 69th annual Houston Cat Club Charity Cat Show, which will be limited to 225 entries. There will be 10 show rings set up, and both pedigreed and mixed breed pets are welcome.

The function is scheduled to be held in the Hilton Houston North, and the Entry Clerk duties will be performed by Sheyl Zink. The registration fee for a pedigreed cat starts at $80, while pet cats may enter for $50. Food can be purchased on site by the attendees, and a block of rooms at the venue has been reserved for booking by the participants at a special price. This event, according to its organizers, may be a good chance for those who are new to cat shows to have an introduction.

Many cat-fancier clubs host shows and other activities. Award certificates, ribbons, medals and, other customizable items for these may be ordered from a company that prepares personalized Corporate Gifts.
