Rheology is the study of how materials deform and flow, and a Houston boot camp-style activity will introduce one of the tools used for its measurement.
The MCR Rheometer User Course, which will be on offer at 3955 World Houston Parkway, will provide a grounding in the use of RheoCompass™ software as well as MCR rheometer hardware. The registration fee is $1,500, and it will run for four days.
The training will be fast paced, and everyone will find out how to properly use and maintain their rheology equipment. Calibration and adjustment of the machines will be reviewed, and an introduction to the RheoCompass™ software has been planned. Viscoelastic and flow properties are on the agenda, and date measurement and interpreting what it means will also be included. Both in class and hands-on learning will be incorporated.
Along with the rest of the perks of being part of the course, the attendees will each receive a copy of “Applied Rheology - With Joe Flow on Rheology Road “. A printing services company can offer its clients a variety of binding options for Books, manuals and other publications.
The start date for the Rheology Boot Camp will be March 11th. A full course description and other details can be found on its online listing. Tickets will be available until March 3rd or they are sold out.
