The 30th annual Freedom over Texas festival is taking place this Independence Day.
The event offers something for every member of the family no matter their age or interests.
There is set to be musical entertainment on three stages from artists such as the United States Air Force Band of the West, Hunter Hayes, The Zydeco Big Timers and The Juke Box. There will also be a salute to the military, games such as corn hole and giant Jenga and plenty of food and drink for purchase.
The area will be divided up into several zones: the All-American Kids’ Zone will have face painting, rides, lawn fishing and many other activities; The Doctor Pepper Zone will feature appearances by professional athletes and autographed memorabilia; and the Fueling Good Zone will have baseball toss, tee ball and other sports-related games.
For the adults, there is also the Bud Lite Bayou Beer Garden and the Southwest Porch.
Celebrations will finish off with an exciting fireworks display.
