Houston tournament helps fund scholarship program

An activity that will support Houston students pursuing their post-secondary educational goals will soon be taking to a local golf course, where the players will be helping to make scholarships available.

The Houston Chapter of Texas Exes recently confirmed the date for the 2025 Texas off Week Open. It will combine fun out on the links with fundraising, and individual player registrations start at $200.

The fun will start bright and early with breakfast and registration before everyone hits the greens for the shotgun start. The ticket fee also covers on-course snacks as well as all-you-can-drink alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and a swag bag of Promotional Products. Both mulligan and raffle draw ticket add-ons are available. The monies raised will be donated to the Houston Scholarship Endowment Fund.

To help maximize the impact of the activity, a sponsorship program has been put in place. Options range from the $150 Hole Sponsor level up to the $3,000 Registration tier, and each provides a way for the supporter’s branding to be in the public’s eye.

The 2025 Texas Off Week Open tourney will be helping to fund the educational goals of Houston scholars on Saturday, November 8, and breakfast will be served starting at 7:00 am. At the time of writing, its player and sponsor registration systems are still open via Eventbrite.
