Houston nurseries host workshop series

Whether they are a budding home horticulturalist or have lots of experience under their belt, a Houston event series will provide monthly learning opportunities to Houston's gardening set.

Facilitated by Texas Certified Nursery Professionals, Cornelius Nursery locations across the area will be taking part in the company's 2026 Garden Talks program. They will all begin at 10:00 am, and everyone who is interested is encouraged to attend.

The topics covered will range from tips for successful pollinator gardening to an introduction to the Best Top 10 Proven Winners® Must-Have collection, the 2026 Rose Collection, growing native plants and poolside container planting. Choosing perennials, autumn and cold weather gardening and ideas for simplifying holiday decorating are all on the agenda, and every workshop will begin at 10:00 am. They are all free, and the attendees can meet others who enjoy getting their hands dirty.

A workshop often offers a learning opportunity in a fun and supportive environment, and facilitators may choose to provide handouts that further explore the topic at hand. Local Stationery printers will be happy to help, and can supply a full line of in-house Print services, with many that may be very budget friendly.

Cornelius Nursery locations across the Houston area will be offering these learning sessions on the second Saturday of the month. Anyone who is interested can find a full list of the dates and topics on The Buzz Magazine website.
