Houston’s feline fans are about to be treated to a new experience, and it will be the first time it has been on offer in the USA.
The American Cat Club and The American Cat Breeders Association will be bringing the inaugural American FIFe Cat Show (Fédération Internationale Féline) to the city, and it will be a full weekend activity. It will showcase many cat breeds, from big Maine coon cats to water loving Turkish vans.
The two-day celebration will include a judged cat show, and the judges will be coming in from around the world. Everyone can learn how the judging process works, and the competition will wrap up with the Best in Show finals. There will be breeders on hand to meet, and the attendees will have a chance to find out about ethical breeding.
Along with the rest of the excitement, a pop-up boutique will feature an assortment of cat themed products, and there will be a lot of unique photo ops, everyone may want to keep their phone or camera close at hand. There will be an area with activities for the kids, and tickets for a raffle draw for the sponsor donated Corporate Gifts will round out the occasion. A special discount will be on offer for military members on the second day of the show.
