The 80s Rock Brunch is taking place next month in Houston, raising money for the S.H.E. Squared Future Female Leaders Scholarship Fund.
The event will be a celebration of the clothing and music of the 1980s. DJ Dan Castillo will be playing some of the most popular and best music from the decade, and no doubt there will be plenty of room for dancing. Guests can also compete in a contest to choose who the Best Dressed 80s person is. Several other fun activities are also planned for the afternoon.
Brunch will feature many Cajun-style foods and guests will be able to enjoy free mimosas.
S.H.E. Squared has a mission to empower and to motivate women of all ages and backgrounds. It sets out to teach social responsibility, taking care of health and wellness, and stressing the importance of education and economics. The organization also provides various community service programs, as well as a yearly essay contest that awards the winner an educational scholarship.
