New timeline on Houston Farmers Market's renovation

Developers have broken ground on a project that aims to upgrade the Houston Farmers Market.

The iconic Houston Farmers Market is known as one of Houston’s greatest culinary destinations. Plans for a remodel have been in the works since MLB Capital Partners bought the plot of 18 acres where it stands back in 2017. On the 6th August, the locally-based investment firm broke ground on the new development. MLB Capital Partners aims to complete the project by the end of 2020.

When asked about the project, Todd Mason, who is the managing principal for MLB Capital Partners, stated:

“As the country’s fourth-largest city and leading culinary capital, Houston is long overdue for a world-class market. We are thrilled to reinvigorate this local landmark into an exceptional destination for Houstonians and visitors to enjoy.”

MLB has many changes planned for the new Farmers Market. Some of the key features to be added include climate-controlled spaces, new seating areas, open-air market areas with shade, and better restrooms. On the perimeter, the traffic flow patterns will be improved and intelligently-planned parking lots will make it easier to separate pedestrian traffic from commercial traffic. New spaces will also be available for more vendors.
Poster printing can be used to advertise new services, progress and opening dates in projects like these.
