New Orleans comes to Houston for the day

The Nola Boil Crawfish Festival is taking place next month in Houston.

The festival is a celebration of the crawfish, or mud bug as it is often called, which is a traditional dish that is served throughout the southern United States. It will feature a crawfish eating contest and a variety of different New Orleans-style foods will be sold by a number of vendors, including crawfish.

There will also be entertainment on the Main Stage from various musical guests, such as zydeco bands. There will also be photo booths and music provided by DJs. This event is open to people of all ages.

VIP options are available for $400 or $550 for a table of eight. Both choices feature 20lb of crawfish, beer, and bottled wine. There is also a $45 per person all-you-can-eat crawfish option.

Organizers of the festival are still accepting applications from vendors and for volunteers and performers.

Houston Stationery printers often provide products such as Flyers and Posters to organizers of some events. These items can be inexpensively and easily distributed in the community.

The Nola Boil Crawfish Festival will be held at Peggy Park on March 9 from 3:00 to 10:00 PM. General admission tickets are $12 per person; crawfish is not included in the price of admission. For the most current information about this event, call 713-364-5124.
