Houston to shake to the Afrobeat this summer

The Houston Afrobeats Summer Fest will light up the city in a few months as soca, hip hop, dancehall, and Afrobeats come to the city.

Afropolitan Cities is the producer of this well-attended event. Artists from these genres and others will join the fun as they perform throughout the festival.

DJs will also be involved, featuring the cultures that will be represented at the festival. Talent calls are currently underway for DJs and performers. More details are available on the event website.

Vendors for both food as well as retail products will also be participating. Attracting over 5,000 attendees, the event provides a unique platform to attract attention and interest to products and services.

Vendors need Business Cards to distribute to create awareness and recall for their products. Local Print shops are available to handle projects such as business card printing.

Diaspora professionals across a variety of businesses and communities take part in this event. It is the goal of Afropolitan Cities, the organizing entity, to bring forth the full potential of the members of the African Diaspora through events and experiences that incorporate authentic culture into the activities.

The Houston Afrobeats Summer Fest will take place on June 20 starting at 6:00 pm until midnight at Suite B at the Aura located at 701 Nett Street. Tickets are available for $10 early bird purchase or $20 at the door.
