Any Houston shoppers on the hunt for some one-of-a-kind finds may want to save the date for an event that will connect them with a wide assortment of local makers.
The Texas Makers Market will be held in early May, after which it will take place once a month. It will be both family and pet friendly, and there will be no fee charged for admissions or parking.
The activity will bring together area farmers, artisans, and other makers, as well as those who prepare gourmet foods, to offer an activity that will provide plenty of shopping choices. It will take place outdoors, and along with the vendor booths, there will be food trucks on hand. As the sellers will be onsite, the public can meet them in person, and those who include the market in their plans are welcome to bring a wagon or cart to carry all their treasures.
