Houston pop-up promotes barbershop

A pop-up has been used to showcase a barbershop that will be based in Houston.

Sorek Barbershop & Menswear is coming to the city, and is the result of a big effort from Jason Gourd. Gourd has been promoting the commercial venture with a pop-up, and told Houstonia:

“Having grown up in the greater Houston area, I have come to understand the importance of giving back to my hometown, and I am extremely proud that I can open my first concept in the heart of this amazing city.”

He added that the East Village location was the ideal spot for the sort of creatives he has in his team.

The vision behind the barbershop is an ambitious one; the idea is that customers will be able to access more than a haircut on the premises. People will have the chance to browse through accessories and jewelry too. The Texas firm Soto & Co. will be providing bespoke clothes to stylish individuals, and a special storefront for the operation has been designed already.

The barbershop is not going to open up until its launch during the month of March. This means that there is time for other pop-up promotions going forward. The addresses of future pop-ups have yet to be confirmed, but it is likely that those who attend the events will be given complimentary services.

New businesses like this can demonstrate what they have to offer by using poster printing.
