Summer evenings in Houston are made for fun in the great outdoors, and the city’s Market Square Park will serve as the venue for the return of popular public activity.
The location will once again be hosting sessions of Blanket Bingo, and these activities will support the Park as well as the Buffalo Bayou Partnership. All ages are welcome, and everyone can bring along a blanket to spread out on the grass, as well as some snacks and drinks to enjoy.
The admission fee for the function is $10 each, and this includes nine bingo cards. Additional cards and daubers may be purchased on site, and these will go on sale an hour ahead of the activity’s scheduled start time. Music and other live entertainment will be on hand, as well as other fun and laughter.
By bringing a wide number of people together, fundraisers can also be community builders. Any printed materials required to make a function a success will be on offer at local Print shops, which can supply everything from poster printing to T-Shirts and other personalized gear for its volunteers.
Market Square Park will be welcoming the return of Blanket Bingo this spring, with a session on the schedule on Thursday, June 16, starting at 7:00 pm. They will also be held on dates in July and August.
