A Houston venue that provides a taste of nature for those who call the city home has scheduled a special day that will explore the area’s past.
The Armand Bayou Nature Center provides the public with an opportunity to learn about and appreciate nature, and its Fall Festival is right around the corner. It has done so since 1981, and this two-day celebration of local natural and agricultural history it has proven to be a local favorite.
Visitors to the venue will be treated to an assortment of fall fun, and wagon rides will be on offer for the crowd to enjoy. They can take in a live musical performance, and there will also be a variety of food available for purchase. Everyone can try out the games or just enjoy taking in all the fun. Demonstrations, a vendor area and a raffle style prize draw will round out the festivities.
A historically themed event may benefit from the services of a banner printing company. It can prepare items that have a period look and feel, and these can help to create the desired atmosphere for a special occasion.
The Arman Bayou Nature Center will be celebrating the joys of autumn with its Fall Festival on November 11th and 12th. More details about admission and parking rates can be found on its event listing.
