Divers sought for Houston area volunteer program

Moody Gardens Aquarium depends upon the generous spirit of its volunteer team, and is on the lookout for some new helping hands.

During an information session hosted at Houston’s Gigglin’ Marlin Divers, members of the public who have experience in diving will be able to learn more about the aquarium's dive program. It is free to take a seat in the session, and there will be information on offer about becoming a member of Gigglin’ Marlins.

The positions that are on offer will support the staff of the facility in its mission to both educate the public and conserve reefs and other marine ecosystems. The attendees will discover how the volunteer program operates, the opportunities that are available and also the perks that go along with the positions. The aquarium’s representative will be able answer questions.

Volunteers are often a vital part of keeping a not-for-profit organization up and running, and a printer can supply a variety of items that thank them for their support. These can range from small tokens like promotional Pens, to larger gifts like clothing and Drinkware.

This information session for potential Moody Gardens Divers is going to take place on September 15, and everyone who is interested is invited to arrive between 6:30 and 7:00 pm. It is scheduled to be on offer at 4502 Almeda Road.
