The Bridges Conference is taking place in Houston next month for two days. It is a presentation of the Harris County Area Agency on Aging and Care Connection, Aging, and Disability Resource Center.
The theme of the conference is ‘Live your best life’ and it is aimed at those who work with the elderly, including social workers, counselors and health workers. Those professionals can earn CEUs (continuing education units) for attending seminars.
As with last year, there will likely be several breakout sessions on various topics related to the care of the aged and people with disabilities. Speakers will feature some top professionals in their fields. Lunches will also be included.
In advance of the conference, nominations are being accepted for the Bridges Conference Champion award which will be handed out during the event.
There will also be some exhibitors tables hosted by businesses or various community organizations. Fees are $325. No doubt some of these exhibitors will obtain signage from a Houston printing services company.
Fees for the conference are $100 for individuals from non-profit organizations, and $150 for those from profit businesses. Sponsorships are available for $500 up to $5,000.
The Bridges Conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel from May 2 to 3. For more information, contact Nicky Stamps at 832-393-4391.
