The 11th annual Delta H Con is taking place next month in Houston for three days.
The convention is a celebration of Japanese pop culture, which includes anime, gaming and food.
There will be a variety of activities of interest to people of all ages over the three-day festival, with cosplay (costume) and art contests, game tournaments, and panel discussions. There will also be several special guest stars. Among those who will be attending this year’s festival are Tia and Kohei, the L33tStr33t Boys, A. D. Cruize, Reakt, and David Vincent. In addition, there will be musical concerts and a maid café.
Other activities are set to include the Itasha car show (registration is $15 per vehicle) and the Idol Festival music competition.
One of the most popular areas of the festival will probably be the dealers’ room. Dealers will be selling all sorts of items including graphic novels, Posters, DVDs, and autographed photographs.
Organizers may contact a Houston poster printing firm to invest in marketing materials to help spread word of the festival in the community.
The Delta H Con will be held at the Marriott Westchase from July 13 to 15. Tickets are $45 for a weekend pass, $35 for Friday, $40 for Saturday ,and $25 for Sunday. Visit the event website for the most up-to-date information.
