The 15th annual Houston Dragon Boat Festival is taking place next month, presented by the Texas Dragon Boat Association and the Asian/Pacific American Heritage Association.
This year, there are expected to be at least 30 corporate and community teams taking part in the races, and there will be a race every 15 to 20 minutes. In addition, there will be performances by Hawaiian, belly, and lion dancing groups, together with martial arts demonstrations, live music, and vendors.
Food vendors pay $220 to rent space at the festival, and fees for merchandise and arts and crafts vendors are $150 or $220, and for non-profit organizations that are just providing information it is $60. However, the deadline for vendors to register has now passed.
Sponsorships are also available from $2,700 up to $20,000. Sponsors have the chance to host their own dragon boat racing team. Organizers are also looking for volunteers to help with many aspects of the festival.
It is likely that Houston poster printing companies might be asked to provide Posters and Flyers to let everyone in the community know about the festival.
The Houston Dragon Boat Festival will be held at Allen's Landing's Buffalo Bayou on May 2 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Admission is free. To get the latest information about activities taking place during the day, call 713-205-7373.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Posters
