Annual art festival lights up midtown

The Midtown Art in the Park festival will be held in Houston next month.

A presentation of the Midtown Management District. The festival will feature the artwork of hundreds of local and regional artists. They will be selling everything from paintings, to sculptures, to photographs. There will also be a display featuring chalk artists such as Rachel De La Rosa and David Rychlik.

There will also be a wine glass painting party, an Instagram pop-up site so people can share their day, a display of art cars and live painting demonstrations. Other activities are set to include a giant colorbook panel that the public can color, and live musical entertainment from artists such as LA Sax, Evelyn Rubio, Mango Punch!, and the Eric Demmer Band. Houston BCycle will also be on hand with a bicycle the public can help paint. Food and drink will be provided by several food trucks.

In addition, the Midtown Farmers’ Market will be open on that day, featuring sellers of local produce and general merchandise.

Houston poster printing firms are often hired to produce products to advertise popular events such as this.
