Special day planned for Georgetown seniors

The Georgetown community’s older adults will soon be gathering together for a day set up especially for them.

The whole family, as well as caregivers, are welcome to check it out as well, and the sign-up fee is $6 each, which includes a light lunch.

During the function, which has been dubbed “Vibrant Living!,” seniors will become empowered by learning more about the community resources available to make planning their golden years a lot easier. Dr. Bill Thomas, whose area of expertise is geriatric medicine, will address the crowd, and there will be 10 learning sessions, resource stations, and other activities for the crowd to enjoy. Advanced registration is required, and ticket holders are welcome to arrive starting at 7:30 am.

With many local businesses and organizations set to set up a booth for the function, it will have plenty to offer those who take part. Corporate Gifts, such as reusable Shopping Bags ,can be filled with Promotional Products to give to every guest at this sort of event, making it easy for them to carry any swag on offer.

Vibrant Living is scheduled to celebrate senior empowerment and is on the agenda for Monday, April 12, starting at 7:30 am. The venue for the day will be located at 1333 West University Avenue, and registration is possible via the event’s website.
