Georgetown is home to a downtown square that has been described as being one of the most beautiful in the state. This will provide a backdrop for an annual event that brings people to the community from a wide area.
For the past 11 years, the city has reserved the afternoon and evening of the last Saturday in September for a special occasion that will combine music, art and wine. The festivities will soon be returning for their 13th year, and both VIP and general admission tickets are now on offer.
Those who attend the celebration will be invited to enjoy up to eight hours of wine, food, and other fun. They can sample wine and purchase any they find especially pleasing to their palate, and they will also be able to visit the various food service providers that will be serving their top dishes to the crowd. There will be several stages set up for live entertainment, and this will all be topped off by displays from local artists and artisans.
Each ticket holder for this special event will receive a souvenir wine glass that will be specially crafted with a unique graphic design. The VIP tickets will entitle the bearer to special seating and head of the line access at the various wine tents.
This community celebration will be centered around The Georgetown Square. It will be held on September 28, and both photo ID and proof of ticket purchase are required for admission.
