Parents with children interested in learning about the arts are encouraged to leave open space in the calendar, as a music theater course is stopping in Georgetown.
The YToB Spring Break Music Theater Clinic is scheduled to begin in a few weeks. It will provide tips and guidance for Georgetown children interested in learning the essentials of performing in a musical production. Participants will indulge in singing, acting, and dancing throughout the week-long event. Attendees will also gain experience with auditioning during the clinic.
The course also teaches choreography, costume design, and directing. Top area artists will provide instruction and guidance at the clinic. Attendees can expect to learn tips to improve their singing skills through games and lessons from the instructors, who will also lead participants through Improv lessons and games to build confidence and acting skills. Flyer printing is a fantastic way to announce community events like this and build brand awareness.
Interested parties can reserve a spot at the weeklong clinic during the area’s Spring Break. The clinic is geared toward children between the ages of 6 and 12.
Creekside Elementary will host the music theater clinic from April 5 through April 12. The event’s first day will kick off at 9:00 AM and conclude at 2:00 PM. Tickets cost $100 per participant and can be purchased online.
