The Georgetown Sertoma Club will once again sponsor the 30th Annual 4th of July in San Gabriel Park. The event usually attracts over 4,000 people to the park, and is free to the public.
In addition to the spectacular fireworks display, there will be many festivities at this family-friendly event. Starting at 11:00 am, the arts and crafts booths and food vendors will open. With over 80 participants, there is likely to be something for everyone, along with food temptations to enjoy.
Vendors at events like this usually use the services of local Print companies for banner printing so they can have material prominently displayed in their booths. Vendor and craft booths are still available and can be reserved online.
Rides for the children, along with games and bounce houses will provide entertainment throughout the event. A petting zoo is also scheduled. Local bands will present musical entertainment beginning at noon and continuing throughout the rest of the day. The bands will be at the gazebo area.
The Leadership Georgetown Alumni will sponsor a ‘Hometown Parade’ beginning at 11:00 am, located at the lower water crossing and concluding at the gazebo.
At 9:30 pm, the park, parking lots, and surrounding areas will attract a likely figure of 50,000 spectators to view the ‘Fabulous Fireworks Finale’, which is provided by GWPyro.
