Georgetown Parks and Recreation believes nobody is too young to start developing a love for the environment, and this April, an special activity will make Garey Park the place to be for budding nature nuts and their whole family.
The families who are part of the Family Nature Fest celebration will be welcome to get their hands dirty when they take part in the assorted activities on offer. Food trucks will be on site as well, and with the music, lawn games and discussions, there will be lots to do for the adults in attendance as well as the kids.
Everyone at the event can make a seed ball, be part of a guided hike, try yoga, and learn more about the animals that call the park home. A solar viewer will be set up as will a photo booth.
The organizers of the day explained that they are grateful to their community partners for their support. Making sure the name and Logo Design of a function’s corporate and public partners is visible to the attendees is one of the best ways to thank them for their assistance.
Saturday, April 11 will be the date for this three-hour session of nature-themed fun, running from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Georgetown Parks and Recreation website will have the latest details about the activity.
