Georgetown prepares for evening of wine and music

Ticket sales and poster printing are well underway for the 8th Annual Georgetown Wine and Music on the Square concert event.

The event features both local musical artists and vintages for an evening of entertainment down in the heart of Texas.

The evening this year features two different acts for the music half of the event: The Blue Vibe Jazz Band is a jazz and swing act founded by a few local IBM employees, while Terry Reinhackel is a long-established local singer and songwriter whose Americana style has often been compared to Willie Nelson.

The ticket, which costs $25, also includes a punch card and a souvenir glass. These can be used to sample wine from one of the many local wineries represented at the event. Held in the heart of Georgetown, visitors can also go to one of the downtown eateries in the area to add some dining to their wining.

The Wine and Music on the Square concert event will be held this Saturday, September 26,at the square in Georgetown. The Blue Vibe Jazz Band begins performing at 3:45 pm and then Terry Reinhackel takes to the stage at 6:00 pm. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time and are on sale through the website.
